FRANCISTOWN: Suspended ECCO City Greens coach, Atshele Molapi has refused to discuss speculation that he was made the scapegoat for the club’s poor run in the league. “I am currently on suspension and I am not allowed to talk to the media. Maybe I will be at liberty to talk to you when I have met senior club officials. I am meeting them soon,” Molapi said yesterday.

Early this week, ECCO slapped Molapi with suspension for the reminder of the be MOBILE Premier League season for poor performance. 

Since 2007, the club has not finished outside the top eight but it now lies 10th with three games to go. Sources at the club this week said that the coach was made a scapegoat by management for the poor form.
