Irate Gunners fans harass Mohambi

Extension Gunners' striker Tiroyamodimo 'Trx' Mohambi was forced to leave the UB Stadium in a hurry on Tuesday night after some fans swamped him saying his loyalty to the club is suspect.

Mohambi was watching his club play Notwane in the final of the Goitsemang Merafe Charity Cup when fans accosted him. "I had to leave at halftime against Notwane because people were harassing me. Some were asking me questions while others made accusations against me. I could not enjoy watching the match because some of them were even rude," the stocky striker told Mmegi Sport.

There have been reports that Gunners' top marksman last season is planning to decamp either to Gaborone United or Township Rollers. "I am not leaving Gunners for any team. I achieved a lot in a short time with Gunners and I want to improve on my record at the team. These are just baseless rumours and I urge the fans to stop worrying and causing confusion because I am still committed to Gunners," Mohambi said.
