Interesting Top 8 duels on the cards

Both Chiefs and Rollers lost their second leg encounters in the quarterfinals but still managed to progress on aggregate having won convincingly in the first leg. Chiefs had hammered Nico United 5-2 in Gaborone and most people ruled them out of the competition.

After the drubbing, Nico United coach, insisted that his side was capable of making an incredible comeback in the second leg. On Saturday, they fell short of just one goal to book themselves a berth in the next stage of the competition.  Rollers managed to advance despite losing 1-2 to BDF XI. ECCO were the only side that progressed to the semi finals having registered victories in both legs. A 2-2 draw with GU was not good enough for youthful side, Uniao Flamengo Santos to progress. They had lost 0-1 in the first leg.
