FRANCISTOWN: ECCO City Greens attacking midfielder Lali Oabile is frustrated after suffering a career threatening injury in debut match for the club. The former Black Peril player broke his leg against TAFIC.

He does not have any hope of returning to action soon. Oabile, who has just remove the plaster on his leg said doctors told him the injury will gradually heal.

"They told me to come for check up at stipulated dates and that means I will still have to get feedback from them every time I go there as to find whether I was making progress or not and this alone implies that, I still have a long way to go," he said. He finds consolation in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) break, which might give him time to heal.  The 23-year-old Mahalapye born lad said he had wished to become a household name at ECCO, but injury brought his plans to a halt. "It is painful that I did not have enough game time to showcase my ability.
