Injured Thebe cries of BNOC neglect

Botswana sprint sensation, Baboloki Thebe says the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) neglects him when he needs assistance with his recurring injury.

Thebe, who ran the world’s leading time for this year in Francistown over the weekend, told Mmegi Sport yesterday that the BNOC has not been forthcoming with assistance.

Thebe said his coach, Mogomotsi Otsetswe took him to a physiotherapist at a local private practice and he goes there every fortnight. He said the BNOC does not assist and when Otsetswe requests for refunds, he is ignored.
