Inaugural bowls league launched

The first games were played last weekend. BBA spokesperson, John Gaborutwe said the games are played in singles, pairs, trips and fours for both women and men's categories. Gaborone hosted Jwaneng and in the North, Selebi-Phikwe travelled to Orapa in the first matches.

Shiela Spring of Gaborone beat Tshenolo Moshokgo of Jwaneng by 21 shots, 14 in the first singles matches, while Gaborone also won the the pairs match.
