I never quit Zebras - Gabonamong

Combative Zebras midfielder, Mogogi Gabonamong has dismissed claims that he had dumped the national team.

Gabonamong, is in camp with the squad preparing for the big encounter against South Africa on Saturday. The Supersport United player told Mmegi Sport yesterday that if his time to retire comes he will follow the right channels.

"If I retire, then I'll write a letter (to the relevant people). People might say whatever they want, but I am patriotic and 100 percent committed to the Zebras," he said when quizzed if he had the team at heart. He said he had been away due to pressing family commitments and had requested to be excused, a statement collaborated by his coach, Stan Tshosane.
