The resignation of coach Clever Hunda has shocked Extension Gunners, club spokesman, Kitso Dlamini said yesterday.

"We were really shocked and disappointed at the way he handled this matter because he had just asked us to find certain players for him and while we were in the process of doing that, he quit. At an impromptu management meeting on Monday, some Gunners' officials reportedly wanted to persuade Hunda to change his mind. "We met to chart the way forward and different ideas were brought to the table but finally we agreed to accept his resignation," Dlamini said.
