On the final day, Aabobe Tshwanelo won bronze in the men's high jump, while Oarabile Babolai also clinched bronze in the women's hurdles, with Mosheleketi Goabaone also getting another bronze in the men's triple jump, and Nigel Amos, another bronze in the men's 800m.
Leungo Matlhaku nearly gave Botswana its first gold on Friday but settled for silver when she was piped by a Nigerian in a photo finish. On the same day, Oarabile Babolai finished third in the unfamiliar hurdles event to give Botswana a bronze. Triple jumper Karabo Buzwani secured a second bronze to bring the total medal haul to three by end of business on Saturday.
