Hogs Stretch Unbeaten Run

Gaborone Hogs maintained their 100 percent record this season when they beat stubborn Cheetahs 26-17 in a gruelling Botswana Rugby Union League encounter played on Saturday at Wharic Park.

Hogs are yet to lose a game this season and the weekend result saw them complete a double on their opponents after they handed them their first defeat of the season in the first round.

In the opening few minutes of the game, play swung from end to end  as the two sides seemed to size each other up. Hoggies, as the log leaders are affectionately known, only opened the scores in the 10th minute through a Shaun Bester penalty. Bester was back again in the 20th minute, scoring yet another penalty to thrust his side into a 6-0 lead.
