High profile practice matches for U-17

Botswana's preparations for the 10th CAN Under-17 Championships billed for Morocco in April roar into life this weekend with two friendly international matches already confirmed.

Acting Botswana Football Association (BFA) chief executive officer, Tariq Babitseng has said that Ivory Coast and Nigeria had agreed to play the Diamond Zebras in March as part of preparations for the continental event.

"We have arranged with Ivory Coast and Nigeria for friendly matches around March. I know these two have confirmed because we received the e-mails," Babitseng told Mmegi Sport.  The two matches will be played away.The Diamond Zebras were scheduled to start their weekend camps on January 11, but meet for the first time at Lekidi Centre tomorrow.
