TLOKWENG: Kutlwano volleyball team players gave their fallen star, Thabo Seitshiro, a fitting send-off on Sunday.

Hundreds of people from all walks of life were at Nkaikela ward to bid the late volleyball icon farewell. The funeral was characterised by song and dance led by Kutlwano team players with the song, Hamba kahle, se zo buya se hlangane, (go well we will meet again). As hymns were being sung Seitshiro's lifeless body lay motionless in a brown casket as different speakers showered him with praises.

Botswana Volleyball Federation (BVF) president, Daniel Molaodi said Seitshiro had made a good name for himself even outside the country. "I received calls from my counterparts in the region sending in their condolences," he told mourners. A man of many names, 'Mad Max' will be remembered for being unique with his weird jumps on the field of play.
