Happy Hearts stir back to life

Happy Hearts, which used to terrorise teams in the 80s, was sadly stripped off their membership by Botswana Football Association (BFA) some three years ago after failing to pay their subscription fee.
When everybody seems to have forgotten about the club, three former players - Phadza Butale, Chandi Moruti and Rabie Tshosa - decided to revive the fortunes of the club. They decided to merge with Kims Fighters in the Gaborone Division One and bring back the entertainment to White City residents. Some weeks after the merge, Happy Hearts have managed to secure a sponsorship from Morongwa Security. The leading security company donated a full kit to the club yesterday in Gaborone and further committed P50,000 towards the revival of the club. "We feel that it is part of our social responsibility to give back to the community which support us. We have learnt that giving is an important aspect of growth," said Morongwa managing director, Galaletsang Butale.
