Mogoditshane Fighters have joined BR Highlanders in the lower division after failing to register a victory against Notwane on Wednesday.

Fighters needed a win against Notwane to keep their slim chance of survival but they could only settle for a 2-2 draw. Fighters are left with only match and can only reach 28 points if they win. Fighters have been in a bitter fight with the likes of Notwane, Prisons XI, Unaio Flamengo Santos and BR Highlanders since the beginning of the year to avoid the dreaded axe but finally met their Waterloo on Wednesday.

Bernard Semakwezi's brace was not enough as Tshepiso Molwantwa equalised to move Notwane within inch of surviving relegation. They, however, have a tough last match of the season against Gaborone United (GU) next Wednesday. Notwane have been doing relatively well after the suspension of coach, Tonderai Marume. Oupa Kowa kicked off his duties as a caretaker head coach with an important 1-0 victory over Extension Gunners at the New Lobatse Stadium early this month.
