Handball Association of Botswana (HAB) is hopeful of representing the country at international competitions such as the Olympics in the near future.

This was revealed by HAB instructor, Harvinder Dhaliwal during the closing ceremony of handball technical course on Friday at the Botswana National Sport Commission warm up area.

Dhaliwal said they will organise a handball competition in eight weeks. He said after a successful training, coaches are expected to go out and impart the skills they leant with players. He said there are international competitions every three months and HAB should come up with a plan to participate in them.
