Hand over failure handicaps PASSOBO

Former officials of the Paralympics Association of Botswana (PASSOBO) have been accused of failure to hand over books the current committee.

PASSOBO vice secretary, Phenyo Makaba has said despite the setback, they are now focused on proceeding even without a proper hand over. He said members of the previous committee refused to hand over the books after they lost elections last May.

A task force appointed last October to look into the issue failed to track down the former officials. Makaba who was part of the task force told Mmegi Sport that they reached a consensus to forge ahead after the handover failed.
