Gwandu sets for GU return

Gangling defender, Itayi Gwandu could only give a hint that he will be plying his trade in the be MOBILE Premier League next season, but would not name the club.

Gwandu told Mmegi Sport said he would join a team that has expressed interest in his service for the next season. Last August, Gwandu dumped Mochudi Centre Chiefs to join Zimbabwe's cash rich premiership side, FC Platinum.

However, his stay at the Zvishavane based outfit was shortlived. And he has not been playing football for a substantial period of time now after failing to clinch a new deal with clubs in Zimbabwe. Although Gwandu and GU officials professed ignorance about the development, Mmegi Sport is reliably informed that the tough-tackling defender has been approached by the Gaborone side for a possible return to which he accepted wholesomely.
