Pilato was sorely missed in the Gunners' engine room when they were held to a goalless draw by rookies Motlakase in Francistown last weekend. He travelled with the Zebras when they played away to China in a controversial friendly game on Independence Day. This week, most Gunners' supporters were happy to have their talisman back in the squad. Pilato has been a marvel to watch and recently there were reports that former champions Mochudi Centre Chiefs are interested in his services.
Though he tried to quash reports that Gunners failed to win against Motlakase because the midfielder was not available, coach Daniel 'Chicco' Nare said that they were happy to have him back. "I don't want to believe that we didn't win because he was absent. We have other able players in the squad. But there is no doubt that he is such an important member of the squad hence I was worried during the transfer window when it was reported that Chiefs wanted to sign him," said Nare.
