Gunners to fight in Africa

Lobatse giants, Extension Gunners have said that they will take part in the CAF Confederations Cup after winning the Coca-Cola Cup on Saturday.

In recent years, Botswana clubs have been opting out of African competitions because of financial reasons but Gunners' acting president, Rashid Chopdat asserted yesterday that his side will be in the continental fray.

"We are going to play. Since we've won the Coke Cup, we're going to meet to draw our fundraising programme to raise funds to go to Africa," he said.
