Chaos continues to reign supreme at Extension Gunners after players boycotted training again on Monday.

The players have vowed to boycott their weekend league match if their salaries are not paid during this week. The players are up in arms after entering the fourth month without their full salaries. They skipped training on Monday for the third time within two weeks.

Management had called for a meeting at 6pm on Monday, but none of the players turned up with only one excusing himself. The club's vice chairman, Keorapetse Kgasa confirmed the training boycott, but professed ignorance over the match-boycott threats. "There was a day in which they never trained because of the salary issue, it should be last Thursday. As for the intention to continue behaving like that I'm not aware because we had a management meeting yesterday evening and we are due to meet them today, but we are not aware of their plans to boycott the weekend match," Kgasa told Mmegi Sport. He blamed miscommunication for the players' absence at Monday's meeting, although two senior players said they had deliberately stayed away.
