Extension Gunners have put seven players on the transfer list while two others will be loaned out to gain experience at other clubs.

The players that have been deemed surplus to requirements at Gunners are Zimbabwean goalkeeper Paradzayi Mandivenga and his compatriot Nkosinathi Khumalo; the Burundian duo of Christopher Ndiyashimne and Aime Nzohabanayo; and three locals - defenders Thapedi 'Stuff' Mokgothu, Mogorosi 'Ross' Magetse and young striker Ernest Ramankabane.

The move comes as no surprise for the Burundian strikers because they only played a handful of games last season as they complained about poor working conditions. The only foreign player who has survived the chop at Gunners is hardworking Zimbabwean defender Thulani Moyo. Gunners started training for next season yesterday.
