FRANCISTOWN: After posting an impressive 3-1 win over city rivals ECCO City Greens last weekend, TAFIC are certainly riding the crest of the waves ahead of their duel with visiting Lobatse Extension Gunners tomorrow.

TAFIC spokesman, Jones Mosweu said they are not relying on the victory against ECCO because they have been gaining momentum after claiming the scalp of Gaborone giants, Township Rollers. "Our morale has been building up ever since that game (against Rollers)," said Mosweu.

He joked that they want to take the league title because it "is just nearby at the Blocks" - the home of defending champions ECCO. Mosweu said except for Tamocha Bedi who might be a doubtful starter due to a slight knock on the knee, all the players are fit. In Gunners, TAFIC host a club without a coach after the recent resignation of Clever Hunda. Gunners' spokesman Kitso Dlamini said by telephone from Lobatse that their clash with TAFIC will mark the start of good things.
