Gunners, BDF XI duel pick of the last 16 ties

Holders Extension Gunners will play two time champions, BDF XI in what turned out to be the pick of the last 16 draw conducted at the Gaborone Main Mall yesterday.

Both sides will be seeking to advance to the quarterfinals in their quest to win the premier knockout competition for the third time in history. Gunners won the inaugural cup in 1992 and last year while BDF XI won the 1998 and 2004 editions.

The two sides share an identical history being the only top-flight teams that have not been relegated to the lower division since the inception of the elite league. They have both appeared in four Coca-Cola Cup finals.
