Gunners abandon plans to sign Zim players

Extension Gunners' hopes of signing two Zimbabwean players have gone up in smoke due to financial constraints. Recently, coach Daniel 'Chico' Nare went to Zimbabwean giants, Highlanders on a scouting mission and spotted two players he wanted to sign. However, he has failed to recruit the players because Gunners cannot afford them.

Gunners' spokesman Kitso Dlamini has told Mmegi Sport that they decided against signing the players  after realising that they are too expensive.

"Chico was very impressed with what he saw but unfortunately, we could not offer what they were asking for and he also acknowledged that it was better to find other players.
