Chiefs 1 (1) (Kekaetswe Moloi 22)

A goal in the dying minutes of the game by Obonwe Maome secured victory for Gaborone United as they beat Mochudi Centre Chiefs 2-1 in the first leg match of the inaugural Super Cup on Friday night. Ronald Chikomo had scored for United on the hour mark cancelling out Kekaetswe Moloi's first half strike before Maome sealed the win for the Coca-Cola champions. The match saw the return of two of the country's top strikers in Moemedi 'Jomo' Moatlhaping and Jerome 'JJ' Ramatlhakwana after botched stay in South African leagues.

Moatlhaping, who last turned out for Chiefs before transferring to South African First Division outfit Polokwane City (formerly Bay United) last year was marking his debut for Gaborone United on Friday. The much-travelled striker have now played for the country's top three clubs having made a name at Township Rollers almost six years ago. He also had a stint at Silver Stars (currently Platinum Stars) in the Absa Premier League during the 2006-2007 season.
