Gaborone United (GU) grabbed an all-important solitary goal towards the end of the be MOBILE Premier league game against BMC at Lobatse Stadium on Saturday. The solitary goal by substitute, Ronald Chikomo, came in the 40th minute and ensured that GU maintained their three-point lead at the top of the log standings.

The goal came at a time when many had already thought the game would end in a stalemate.

This would have been a major blow, especially since their nearest competitors, Mochudi Centre Chiefs, were busy hammering Great North Tigers (GNT) in a game that ended with 6-0 score in Molepolole.  GU coach, Mike Sithole made numerous changes in the first line up. Kenny Ledikwe who is naturally a striker was roped in to play at the right back ahead of Gabriel Bokhutlo who had dominated the position since joining the team at the start of the season.
