GU fall to Rollers as Chiefs go top

It has been touted as Gaborone United's season. But on the evidence of their display against defending be MOBILE Premier League champions, Township Rollers the task is mammoth.

GU has started the season on the front foot but their bigger test was always going to come against Rollers. Leaders going into the weekend and needing nothing short of maximum points to retain their place at the summit, GU wilted under sustained pressure from Rollers.

Rollers were probably staring defeat in the face after Malawian holding midfielder, Lawrence Majawa clumsily clattered into Ronald Chikomo, earning himself a straight red in the 65th minute. Majawa's departure raised expectations among the GU fans who had seen their side put to the sword for the better part of the match.
