GU has started the season on the front foot but their bigger test was always going to come against Rollers. Leaders going into the weekend and needing nothing short of maximum points to retain their place at the summit, GU wilted under sustained pressure from Rollers.
The Reds, champions in 2009, held a slender one-point advantage but saw that overturned to a two-point deficit as Mochudi Centre Chiefs assumed leadership. Rollers were probably staring defeat in the face after Malawian holding midfielder, Lawrence Majawa clumsily clattered into Ronald Chikomo, earning himself a straight red in the 65th minute.
