GU, ECCO In Drab Draw

Bulky striker, Wellington Maposa salvaged a point for the defending champions after they fell behind to a seventh minute Bonolo Fraiser opener. This was GU's second consecutive draw after they were held by Notwane in the season opener. ECCO have also drawn their first two matches this season after a 0-0 deadlock against TAFIC.
The ECCO-GU duel was a dull match which failed to rise to its billing despite the good crowd on a sweaty afternoon. Plagued by injuries to key players, GU started with Maposa and new recruit, Ringo Rankgomo upfront. Rankgomo struggled the whole afternoon and it was a mystery that he saw the whole 90 minutes.
