Mascom Top 8 champions, Gaborone United (GU) continue to strengthen their squad in preparation for next season.

Following the arrival of Zebras defender Edwin Olerile two weeks ago, Moyagoleele have this week announced the signature of Kabo Rasuping and Mathews Moruti.Rasuping has signed a three-year deal from BDF XI as David Bright attempts to mount a serious challenge for league honours next season. GU finished fourth behind Mochudi Centre Chiefs, Nico United and BDF XI after pushing Chiefs for the top spot early last season.

Rasuping's capture also follows the shock arrival of former Uniao Flamengo Santos coach, George Mogopodi who has joined GU's technical team as an assistant to Bright. His two-year deal was announced last week. National Under-20 striker Mathews Moruti has also joined Moyagoleele from Santos on a three-year contract. Moruti was at the centre of a dispute between Santos and Extension Gunners and spent most of last season on the sidelines.GU have also announced that they will send promising left back Kaelo Kgaswane on a season-long loan although they are yet to find a team for him. With the arrival of Olerile, it would have become even more difficult for Kgaswane to break into the team. Kgaswane was fighting for the position last season with exciting Gosegonna Molapisi while Tumisang Sekanonyane can also play in that position.
