The Botswana Premier League (BPL) has said the abandoned match between Gaborone United (GU) and Mochudi Centre Chiefs will start from the beginning, with all records expunged except bookings.

The match will be replayed tomorrow evening at the Molepolole Sports Complex. Kick-off is at 7:00 pm.The top of the table clash had to be called off in the 73rd minute on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch. The artificial Molepolole Sports Complex turf was covered in water rendering it unsafe and unplayable.

At the time, GU were leading 1-0 after Jackie Mothatego shot them ahead through a well taken free-kick late in the first half. But the goal will not count as the rules state that 'if a match is abandoned through bad weather or the state of the pitch the league will set another date within 24 hours'.
