Government Clears Zebras

The Botswana government has given the Zebras the green light to play an international friendly with Zimbabwe at the National Sports Stadium in Harare on Wednesday night.

It has been doubtful whether the government would allow the Zebras to travel to Zimbabwe following the political stand-off between the two countries.

On Saturday afternoon, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Phandu Skelemani told Monitor Sport that they do not have a problem with the Zebras playing against the Warriors.
