...as Olympics team leaves

Five Botswana athletes will leave for the 2012 London Olympics today, with a target of two medals, one of which should be gold, looking a realistic challenge.

There was a large turnout to bid farewell to the team that carries the nation's hopes of a first ever medal at the Olympics since the country's first participation in 1980. Prospects of a gold medal reached fever pitch after 400 metre champion, Amantle Montsho stormed into victory at the Diamond League in Daegu, South Korea last year.
