GNT signs 11 players on Premier League return

FRANCISTOWN: Great North Tigers (GNT) has bolstered its squad with 11 acquisitions, in a bid to sustain its return to the Premier League.

GNT spokesperson Mengisto 'Gazza' Chigala said the team is ready to compete and looks formidable despite losing goalkeeper Sthanda Lorato to Miscellaneous. Chigala said they managed to retain all the players except Lorato.  To fill the void left by Lorato, GNT has signed two goalkeepers in Bogalo Gunda from TAFIC and Amos Puso from ECCO City Greens.

Upfront, the police side has secured the services of three strikers, Tamocha Bedi, formerly with TAFIC, Hero Batunda from TASC and Dust Uluba from Sowa Flamingoes. Of the three, Bedi is a more seasoned campaigner and has signed a two-year contract after being offloaded by his former club.
