GNT marksman leads goal scorers' charts

FRANCISTOWN: The race for the top goalscorers' award is intensifying in the First Division North with only three weeks before the end of the season. Despite the unavailability of a sponsor, competition for the top marksman award is intense.

Great North Tigers (GNT)'s marksman, Letsogile Mothowaeng, is ahead with 14 goals followed by Satmos' Oteng 'Anelka' Oganne who has 13.

BR Highlanders' top man, Owen Ferguson, and log leaders, Mahalapye Hotspurs' striker, Thato Hatem Madima, are both on 11.  Madima has been key to his side's title charge while Ferguson has accounted for half of his side's 22 goals this season. Madima has scored 11 of the 30 goals that Hotspurs has netted thus far in the league campaign.
