The Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture, Shaw Kgathi has been rapped for criticising sports leaders during a recent Sport Pitso. The Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) affiliates laid into the minister during the council's Ordinary General Meeting held in Phakalane on Tuesday.

Kgathi had lambasted administrators for failing to heed his call to attend the Pitso, which was held in Gaborone last week. But the sports leaders came out smoking during the BNSC OGM and demanded that Kgathi should publicly apologise for his utterances.
