Glen Valley Club Wins Boxing trophy

RAMOTSWA: Glen Valley Boxing Club (GVBC) were on Saturday crowned the 2011 Keone Mooka Mageu National Boxing Champions after garnering 15 points to finish top of the 12 clubs competing in the Championship.

The army club had four boxers in different categories in the finals played at Kagiso Senior in Ramotswa.

The club won two gold and two silver pocketing prize money of P20, 000. Thato Batshegi got gold in the men's light (60kg) finals defeating Motlatsi Mokobeng of Phikwe club Eastern Military Garrison (13-6).
