Gaborone Marathon provides endless opportunities - Seretse

Addressing a press conference at the Phakalane Golf resort yesterday, the Assistant Minister of Trade and Industry Vincent Seretse said that the marathon should be viewed as more than just a sporting event as it provides additional gains to the country.

He said the marathon would set the stage for promoting trade and industry in the country, considering that 3,000 athletes who will be participating. He said the athletes would require services ranging from accommodation, transportation, food and entertainment during and after the event.
