F/town Gets Youth Football League

FRANCISTOWN: Against expectations, only a few people turned up for the launch of the youth football league at the Francistown College of Education on Saturday.

Football officials were scathing in their attack on clubs, which did not send representatives for the meeting.

"There are supposed to be 33 clubs in the north, a majority of them here in Francistown. We like to say that the Francistown business community does not care about our sport, but how much do we demonstrate to them that we love our sport our selves?," chairperson of the Francistown Regional Football Association, Isaac Ndoda, complained bitterly.
