Francistown Independence Cup battle continues

FRANCISTOWN: The 43rd Francistown Independence Cup continues today and tomorrow as four teams battle for a place in the final on September 30.

The World Group of Companies has donated P67,000 to sponsor the tournament. Premier League side, ECCO City Greens play First Division club TASC today while Tiny Rockies play Sua United tomorrow in the other semi-final.

The competition started with 12 clubs last weekend with northern giants, TAFIC, falling to bitter rivals, ECCO. The winner of the tournament will walk away P15,000 richer while the runners-up get P10,000. Semi-finalists will receive P3,000 each while  quarterfinalists will be given P2,000 each.
