*Prisons Throws Away Easy Match Against Seekers
Towering BDF VI attacker Francis Dingwe was the star of the show on Saturday as the army side drowned Victory Seekers 3-0 in the ongoing Mascom Volleyball League at the SSKB, Mogoditshane.

Victory Seekers met BDF VI after a morale-boosting victory against wasteful Prisons. However, it was always going to be a mountain to climb achieving a win immediately after playing such an energy sapping see-saw battle that lasted for one hour 20 minutes. However, it was the Seekers who notched the first point in the opening set before the towering attacker, Dingwe cancelled out with an easy slam, but Boikanyo Majafe's point winning volley put the Seekers in front soon afterwards, as if to prove they still had some boxes of energy in them. However, Dingwe's impressive display  by the net would soon stretch the lead to 10-2, before BDF VI's pin point serves by  Theko Baruti and Tiro Loatile saw BDF VI stretching the lead to  13-5. Despite looking down and out, the Seekers took the fight to their opponents as they got off the blocks impressively, catching BDF VI with an array of long range volleys and  cleverly  executed serves that saw them 6-1 up  early in the second set. However,  BDF VI would steadily correct their errors, eventually seeing the set stabilise as both teams played a tight game; holding each other  at 7-7, 9-9, 11 and 12-12

Perhaps BDF VI's tactics of using a libero were to blame for the sufferings in the second set as there danger man, Dingwe had to give way momentarily. It was upon Dingwe's return that the BDF side started to stretch the lead to16-13. Seekers made two changes, taking out Omphemetse Rabana and   Kabo Mosipidi for Phemelo Monnaotsile and Thuso Kgosimore, as BDF VI ran rampage taking the second set 25-16.
