First division North leadership exchange hands

SELEBI-PHIKWE: No Mathata's fairy tale run in the First Division North was brought to a cruel end when they lost 4-1 to new leaders, TASC last weekend, emphasising how unpredictable the league race is.

No Mathata find themselves in third spot behind TASC and Motlakase Power Dynamos. The war continues this weekend as Highlanders comes back from the short break to face Motlakase in Mahalapye. Highlanders' coach Lebitso Ratlou said they are ready for Motlakase.

"We know that Motlakase will come into the game with high morale since they have been doing well. On the other hand, we will be underdogs and that will not put us under pressure," he said. Ratlou said being fourth on the log has shifted the pressure from his players. He admitted that his side has not been doing well in the last few games. In their last game, Highlanders drew 2-2 against Orapa Wanderers. In Selebi-Phikwe, No Mathata welcome Wanderers eager to redeem their dented pride. No Mathata spokesperson, Mpho Tsumake said they did not play their usual football against TASC, which led to the embarrassing loss.
