Fighters Tighten Grip

MedRescue South First Division pacesetters, Mogoditshane Fighters consolidated their lead at the top when they trounced Mochudi Buffaloes 1-0 at the SSG Grounds on Saturday. The Mochudi side never fought like wounded buffaloes even after Fighters scored. Fighters got the only game of the match in the 20th minute when the troublesome Patrick Mpofu netted after a corner.

Fighters' midfielder, Dunga Thobogang had a field, day as he made the Buffaloes players chase shadows.  Another Fighters' 'statesman' Barney Marman also stamped his authority on the game as the Mochudi said failed to pose a threat throughout. Fighters' goalkeeper, Anthony Matengu had an easy afternoon as it seemed the Mochudi side had come to honour the match and not to fight for points.
