The Fighters' management has tasked Justine Mmereki, who was in charge of the men's development team, with reviving the women's side. Mmereki told Mmegi Sport in Gaborone yesterday that he has 16 players and needs 14 more before the team could be registered with the Botswana Football Association (BFA).

"The management agreed on January 15 to revive the team and if everything goes according to plan, the team will play in the league next season," Mmereki said. He said he was positive that the team would hold its own in the league.
