Fighters edge closer to promotion

Mogoditshane Fighters have recovered in time to contest for promotion to the Premier League with only three games left.

Botshelo Pelokgosi's side has jumped Ramotswa teams, Killer Giants and Letlapeng, although his team is still tied with Letlapeng at 32 points with Fighters enjoying a two-goal superiority.

The Mogoditshane side registered an important 3-0 win over another former Premier League side, Jwaneng Comets. Letlapeng have also improved their promotion aspirations after a convincing 3-1 over strugglers, Young Strikers, on Saturday. The two teams now pose a serious threat to leaders, Mochudi Buffaloes' promotion aspirations having reduced the margin to a single point.
