Mogoditshane Fighters' coach Letang 'Rasta' Kgengwenyane has spared his players from blame in the wake of the poor performance which once again threatens the Brazilians' stay in the Premier League. Instead he has shifted blame to Premier League sponsors be MOBILE. He said his charges are not doing well because be MOBILE has not released funds to clubs. He said Fighters is not the only team, which has suffered as a result of the funding problem as exemplified by the inconsistent performances in the league.

"Things are hectic for us, players are demoralised because they are not paid properly and they have lost focus. I know people would say that I am making excuses, but we are the only country where clubs in the national league are not funded. Obviously some clubs have been affected more than others," Kgengwenyane said.

"The club (Fighters) has been experiencing some financial problems but the situation would have been better if we were getting some funding from the league.
