Fani slammed for 'neglecting'women football

Women football officials have slammed the Botswana Football Association (BFA) president David Fani for not living up to his promise to improve female soccer. During his campaign, Fani promised that the women's game will be one of his top priorities but critics say this is not the case.

Double Action coach, Agreement Podi says the Fani administration has not made any difference to the women's game.

He says sticky issues remain unresolved and the BFA has neglected women's football.
He says Fani does not support women soccer. He asserts that since Fani took over, there is lack of communication between the association and the women's league.
