Fani allays fears over players' Incentives

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has allayed fears that some players who contributed to the historic qualification for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations will not be rewarded.

BFA president, David Fani, said yesterday that their intention is to reward all players who contributed to the campaign. There have been fears that some players who were not involved in the later stages of the qualifiers may not be rewarded.

When the Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture, Shaw Kgathi revealed this week in Parliament that the players and the coaches will be rewarded for the achievement, it was not clear how the recipients will be determined.
