Ezinkomo dump Paul

In a shock move, Coca-Cola champions BMC have parted ways with their assistant coach Keitumetse 'Pio' Paul this week. The move came as a surprise especially that Paul guided the Lobatse side to the Coca-Cola Cup triumph in September as a caretaker coach.

Under Paul's mentorship, BMC produced some exciting football, which saw them beating giants like Mochudi Centre Chiefs, Notwane and ECCO City Greens on their way to Coke glory.

Information reaching Mmegi Sport says that Ezinkomo decided to dump Paul because the management felt that he was sabotaging the new Zimbabwean tactician Cosmas Zulu.  In an interview with Mmegi Sport yesterday, Paul said that there are so many issues that prompted his departure. Paul is shocked to learn that he was sabotaging Zulu. He said that they had a good working relationship and learnt much from him. "I am not bitter, people know what I have achieved at BMC. I will just sit at home until the end of the first round before making the next move. I am not going to rush into making a decision," he said. Already, there are reports that two Mascom Premier League teams have approached Paul, but he was not ready to divulge the names.
