The Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) chief executive officer, Falcon Sedimo faces an anxious wait as his five-year tenure ends in October.

There are mixed feelings over whether he deserves another term at the helm of sport’s umbrella body. Sedimo joined the BNSC in October 2015 from the Department of Sport and Recreation. He declined to discuss his contract situation. 

“I would be violating the Employment Act. There are stages and the contract has timelines. We are not at a stage where I should discuss it. I do not want to be seen in the media discussing my contract,” Sedimo said.
