Euphoria engulfs Francistownahead of league launch

FRANCISTOWN: The second city is in a festive mood ahead of tomorrow's launch of the be MOBILE Premier League in the north.

Premier League Committee (PLC) acting general manager, Setete Phuthego and be MOBILE public relations officer, Golekanye Molapisi were upbeat about what football fans in the northern city should expect when activities start at 10am. The cherry on top in the two days of activities will be the football game between Francistown's giants, ECCO City Greens and crowd pullers, TAFIC.

Setete and Molapisi told Mmegi Sport that the be MOBILE team will be at Galo Shopping Centre today to hold a competition, in which 20 lucky customers will win tickets to the game. There will be entertainment at the Francistown Stadium by groups like Wizards of the Desert, Eskimos and local DJs ahead of kick-off.
